A QUIET RURAL SETTING
The Sandlings Centre is situated at the southern end of Heritage Coast on the fringes of Shottisham and Hollesley Villages.

The centre is a small development set in ten acres of meadows and woodlands which are well sheltered and within minutes of the coast at Shingle Street and Bawdsey.
Large areas of Sandlings Heath and Rendlesham Forest also lay adjacent.

The quiet surroundings attract a diversity of wildlife and the owners, who get much pleasure from this, are keen to preserve and further encourage this delightful aspect of the centre.

Licence Agreements
British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BH&HPA) licence agreements are issued to homeowners. These agreements are the result of negotiations between the Association, Parks in the UK and the Office of Fair Trading and are designed to give security of tenure to holiday homeowners. Copies of these along with the Associations’ Code of practice can be inspected on request.

Licence agreements are issued as follows:
New single holiday homes: 15 years
New lodge/Twin holiday homes: 25 years
Used holiday homes: Variable depending on age and price of home but a minimum of 5 years is granted when homes are sold as pre-owned. The licence term will always be clearly stated when a home is offered for sale.

These licence periods can be extended at the following rate:
When extended at the time of purchase:

Single holiday homes: Licences can be extended up to a maximum of 30 years from year of original manufacture at a cost of £650.00 for each additional year requested.

Lodge/Twin holiday homes: Licences can be extended up to a maximum of 99 years from year of original manufacture at a cost of £1000.00 for each additional year requested.

When extended at any time up to the expiry of the original licence:
As above but at the current rate at the time of application.

 
We are very mindful that the purchase of a holiday home is a major decision for anyone to make ant that it is costly and a long term investment. The right choice of caravan and its siting are or course imperitive to ensure long term enjoyment and so we made the decision to give our customers the widest possible choice of makes, types and sizes of caravan.

Our many years of experience and friendly advice will be of great assistance in helping you make the right selection. Many of our customers were keen caravan tourers before settling to static recreational use and our tourer part exchange facility was a great assistance when making the change over. If you have a caravan to dispose of we will be pleased to give you a valuation.
